Maywood Hills Science Fair

Tuesday, May 15th at 6:30

The science fair is just around the corner and it is time to have fun doing some science!  Remember a science project can be more than just an experiment!  It can be a science research project, an engineering project or a science collection too.  Turn in this form (https://1drv.ms/w/s!AjBGLNFKfQ5-nUSEpONGdrd2ETYo ) to school and a science fair board will be sent home with your child to display their project on.  Extra forms are also available in the front office.

About the Science Docent Program

Our 2017-2018 Science Docent program is led by Pamela Blakemore. Together they are working to ensure there is a science docent in every classroom, collaborating on expanding and improving our Science Fair and organizing our science supplies to make sure we have a robust Science program!

Another exciting way to be involved in your child’s classroom is to become a Science Docent! Science docents spend time sharing the excitement of science with students through hands-on experiments. No experience required. We’ll provide you with a simple lesson and supplies, or you can come up with your own ideas. If you are interested in becoming a Science Docent for a classroom or would like more information on any of the above information, please email Pamela and Jennifer at: sciencedocent@maywoodhillspta.com
