We will be showcasing all our amazingly talented young artists online and to do this, we will need students, with their parents help and permission, to select one piece of artwork that they created this school year to submit electronically.  Read more.

This year is going to be… different. We’re all learning as we go. The PTA is here to help get our kids, parents and teachers off to a great start.

Let’s make this a great year together, even if we can’t be together.

Promote Partnerships

The PTA promotes partnership between parents, guardians, staff, and students to benefit the school community.  And provides a welcoming atmosphere and provides volunteer opportunities for parents and staff.

Academic enrichment

The PTA creates and supports curriculum enhancements such as after-school programs, book room support, library volunteers, scholarships, art docents and many more.

A Sense of Community

The PTA sponsors events that foster a sense of community and family involvement. These include the ice cream social, first day of school welcome, family BBQ, book fair, Festival of Cultures and many more.

La Posada – In past years, La Posada would be celebrated by the Maywood Hills Natural Leaders and Hispanic Community. Butter Braid Fundraiser

Update: Extended to December 14th! This December, the Maywood Hills PTA will have an online Butter Bread pastry fundraiser. The money will help fund food for Maywood families in need and provide funding to the teachers for special projects. The Butter Braid pastries are $10 – $13 each and come frozen in a variety of flavors. Valid December 3, 20 – December 14th, 20. Maywood PTA will receive 40% of every pastry sold. Chess Club is Coming Soon

Watch D.O.G.S. Update

Meet the new head of our Watch D.O.G.S. program, Doug Waugh. Born and raised in Bothell, Doug is a product of the Northshore School District and the University of Washington.  After spending time as a Police Officer, Doug worked in the Bellevue School District as an English Teacher, coach, and Dean of Students.  He left the classroom, but didn’t stop his passion for teaching and learning.   He currently is the Vice President of Pre-AP Programs at College Board.  His…
