Science Fair & Art Showcase

The magic of science or the science of magic - which will you choose to explore?!

All Maywood students are encouraged to do a science project to display at the annual Science Fair! A tri-fold board will be provided to your student.

3 easy steps to follow:

1. Do some STEM! Design an experiment, research a topic, assemble a collection, build a model or make a demonstration about a science-based magic trick or explain why an experiment appears to be magic, but is actually science at work. It is not necessary to stick to the theme for your Science Fair project, however - any science topic will do!

2. Make a display that shows what you did and learned.

3. Bring your board back to school the morning of Friday, May 29 to show your class and display at the school Science Fair that evening.

All projects will be displayed at the Science Fair Open House from 5:30-7:30 pm on Friday, May 29th, but attendance is OPTIONAL. You do not need to attend the Science Fair to have a board displayed.
