Welcome back!

This year is going to be… different. We’re all learning as we go. The PTA is here to help get our kids, parents and teachers off to a great start.

Let’s make this a great year together, even if we can’t be together.

Promote Partnerships

The PTA promotes partnership between parents, guardians, staff, and students to benefit the school community.  And provides a welcoming atmosphere and provides volunteer opportunities for parents and staff.

Academic enrichment

The PTA creates and supports curriculum enhancements such as after-school programs, book room support, library volunteers, scholarships, art docents and many more.

A Sense of Community

The PTA sponsors events that foster a sense of community and family involvement. These include the ice cream social, first day of school welcome, family BBQ, book fair, Festival of Cultures and many more.

Read-a-thon is here!

Hello Maywood Families,  The PTA is excited to host a Read-a-Thon starting on March 6th. Students will be tracking their reading minutes over the course of 10 days, March 6th -15th. Our goal for the Maywood Tigers is to log 100,000 minutes over 10 days! We can do this!! Library Volunteers Needed

The Maywood Hills Library is always looking for volunteers to hand out library books to kids in this ‘virtual learning world”! Volunteers are needed every Tuesday for 15 minutes.  There are 4 locations to help although the stop that needs the most help is Canyon Park Middle school from 12:00-12:15.
