Description: Course distance is roughly one half mile. This activity gets kids moving, allows them to show their sportsmanship and be a part of a team. Practices will start in September and meets are held during the month of October.
Registration: This is organized by Northshore School District. The registration fee is $45.00. The registration fee can be paid through the district's online credit card payment system called Touchbase. Touchbase accepts Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. Please note that a $2.95 convenience fee will be applied. Parents/Guardians can reach out to the office if they do not have their Touchbase login information.
Cost: The registration fee is $45.00. For eligible students who have completed the application for free/reduced meals and the consent to fee waiver form (either during the application process or separately on the Food Services page), the fee will ring up as $0 with no processing fee.
The free/reduced application can be found on the Food Services page. The online application only takes a few minutes and is the fastest, easiest way to get approved. Paper applications are also available. Parents wishing to have a paper application mailed to them should contact the Food Services office at 425-408-7657. The reduced fee waiver can also be accessed via the Food Services page.

Cost: $162 (9 weeks)
Description: Join Seattle’s Performers for an exciting after-school musical theatre experience featuring A Year with Frog and Toad KIDS! Based on the beloved children’s books, this whimsical musical follows Frog and Toad through four seasons of friendship, adventures, and plenty of laughs.
Performers will develop their skills in singing, acting, and dancing while building confidence, creativity, and stage presence. With lots of fun ensemble roles and opportunities for every performer to shine, students will learn what it takes to bring a musical from rehearsal to the stage.
The session culminates in a performance for family and friends the last 30 minutes of class Dec. 9

Description: Garden Club Tigers help Mrs. Huizenga, Mrs. Sader, Ms. Miceli and Mrs. Liao make Maywood Hills a more beautiful place! Garden Club members weed, plant, harvest and shovel compost in the gardens and food forests around Maywood Hills.
Registration is limited to 60 students. We meet outside rain or shine.

Description: Little Buds Journey guides young artists through Explorer → Creator → Innovator → Master, combining painting, sculpture, clay, mixed media, and more with fresh creative challenges.

Registration Process
We will do a pre-registration to ensure we have enough parent volunteers to support the programs prior to payment being received by the provider.
Sept 11: Fall registration open until class reaches capacity. Please do not reach out to providers directly at this time.
Sept 16: Once class is fully approved and volunteers secured, enrichment@maywoodhillspta.com will send you a provider registration link to complete payment and secure your space.
Dec 11: Winter registration opens. Please do not reach out to providers directly at this time

Volunteers
We need volunteer after school program coordinators for each class in our after school programs. Without these volunteers, we cannot operate classes per our insurance requirements. A PTA chaperone MUST be present in the class for the entire duration of class. PTA chaperones are eligible for significant provider discounts, with some providers giving free student enrollment and a guaranteed spot in the class.
To volunteer as a PTA Chaperone, you are/have:
over 18 years of age
a PTA member, join here
a NSD Level 2 background check completed

All volunteers will follow these guidelines for chaperoning.
Participation Policy
When completing registration, you will be asked to confirm participation policy including parent and student expectations.
Scholarships
Your PTA has scholarships available for families that request financial assistance. Please reach out to Megan Ham, our Dean of Students, at mham@nsd.org or request during registration process.

These activities are not sponsored nor endorsed by the Northshore School District or any of its schools. The District assumes no responsibility for the conduct during or safety of the activities.
