  • We’re looking for one or two volunteers to assist with Emergency Preparedness (E-Prep) tasks throughout the school year. If you’re organized and enjoy behind-the-scenes work that helps keep our school safe and running smoothly, we’d love your help! Here are some keyways you can support the E-Prep team:

    1. Badge Sticker Updates (Before School Starts)

    • Each year before school begins, student name badges get updated with new class stickers.

    • What’s involved: Simply placing pre-sorted stickers (by teacher) onto badges.

    • When: Late August or early September – flexible timing!

    2. Emergency Backpack Checks (Early September)

    • At the start of the school year, every classroom’s red emergency (E-Prep) backpack needs a quick check.

    • What’s involved: Ensure contents are present and batteries are working.

    • We’ll coordinate with teachers ahead of time to place backpacks in the hallway for easy access.

    • When: Flexible, volunteer chooses a day that works best.

    3. Monthly District E-Prep Zoom Meetings

    • Volunteers are invited to attend monthly Zoom meetings hosted by the district for updates and support.

    • Optional but helpful to stay in the loop.

    4. Storage Crate Organization (Ongoing & One-Time Project)

    • Periodically check in with the E-Prep team (Saline, Rose, and me) to help organize and maintain the storage crate throughout the year.

    • One-time task this fall: Help move supplies from the old storage crate to a new shed. We’ll need a team of parent volunteers for this project once we gain access.

  • Partner with Kelsi to lead our after school activities. We are looking for 1-2 people who are available to help our parent volunteers get up and running the first week or two of each session. After school clubs are ~3x a week with a 6-week session in both winter and spring. Kelsi will handle the admin responsibilities: registration and communications with front office, parents, and club teachers.
