InCLOODiES 9/19
InCLOODiES Tip of the Week: There’s a lot of uncertainty in the world right now and our kids feel it too. As parents and caregivers, it’s natural to want to reassure them. Instead of saying, “Don’t worry, everything will be fine,” try this: “It’s okay to feel the way you do. I’m right here, and we’ll get through this together.”
This kind of validation helps kids know their feelings are okay and not too big for us to handle. It also lets them know they’re not alone and that we’ll help them navigate hard things.
